Updated: Mar 20
Greetings, and welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.
On to highlighting a few of the videos.
1) Under the ‘Man-made Attractions’ category, there is a video with the following description:
Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a 402-acre site. (UNESCO World Heritage sngkor Wat is just one of the many fantastic human creations that had been lost to history. You would be just as much in awe of this creation if people made it today.
Showing an Angkor Wat video is a perfect example of how FREETOGO will highlight incredible sites unknown to many.
2) For many, it is the Fall season or Autumn. So, I have added a couple of incredible videos with spectacular views showing the ‘changing of the leaves.’ You can find these videos in the Current holiday & season showcase category.
(In other months, you can find these videos in the Archive holiday & season showcase.)
The description for the video is, ‘One woman's global Photoshop experiment yielded stunning results." The woman in the video sent an unaltered photo of herself to Photoshop experts in twenty-two countries worldwide. She told them, "Make me beautiful." Watch the video to see the results.
4) BONUS! Once again, I'd like to call your attention to an extraordinary virtual travel site listed under the category Like You Are There.
The site is called Window-Swap. Part of the website’s description is, “A place on the Internet where all we travel-hungry fools share our 'window views' (from all around the world) to help each other feel a little bit better till we can (responsibly) explore our beautiful planet again.”
I highly recommend that you check this out. It offers you a significant step into the world of Virtual Travel.
Again, I invite you to check out the above videos and the many others curated for this website.
Also, be sure to see all of the many ways people are using FREETOGO at the bottom of the ‘Travel Now’ page.
Most importantly, help to improve the quality of life of everyone. Please share this website far and wide, especially with anyone unable to travel freely. Sign up as a member, leave a testimonial, and visit the website regularly!
Get creative and have some fun traveling virtually. I look forward to the day when the term Virtual Travel will be as commonplace as the term travel.
