Greetings, and welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.
This month I’d like to call your attention to videos of some incredible creations. After you see these videos, I hope that you will want to check out the other videos on FREETOGO that are equally fascinating.
1) Under the Man-made Attractions category, there is a video with the following title:
“The world is home to a plethora of fascinating ancient ruins, from crumbling cities to temples that have withstood the test of time. Many of these ancient societies were incredibly innovative and forward-thinking. Just take a look at their meticulous city planning and incredible feats of engineering; some of which we are yet to fully understand.
And while there’s so much we can learn from these prehistoric people, perhaps the most enchanting part is what we don’t know. Some of the most captivating ancient ruins are full of thousand-year-old mysteries that will boggle even the most curious of minds.”
I encourage you to view this video fully. Just a guess here I expect that most have never heard of these creations. I promise that you will be amazed!
2) As a follow-up to the above, check out a video in the More UNESCO World Heritage sites with the following title:
“We all know that the easter island heads have bodies – that’s not a mystery at all. But how did the easter island population build hundreds of statues? Scientists have recently solved this mystery and discovered where these people disappeared to and why…”
3) Lastly, in the Man-made Attractions category, there is a video with the title:
“Petra, aka the Lost City of Stone, with massive structures sculpted right out of the side of canyon walls, is hidden in the remote mountains of Jordan. (UNESCO World Heritage site.)”
