Greetings, and welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.
Firstly, I’ll have you view the scenario titled “Madison Surprises Grammy.” This can be found in the category See how people are using FREETOGO at the bottom of the Travel Page. Then, I’ll share with you what Grammy did after this experience.
Enamored by her surprise experience of traveling virtually to Paris, Grammy decided to surprise all the ladies in her Bunco group.
The following week after Madison surprised Grammy, the group met for their usual social time and to play Bunco. After the ladies finished catching up with each other and before the Bunco games began, Grammy asked everyone to join her in the television room.
She quickly connected (paired) her phone to the big-screen television hanging on the wall. The group was flabbergasted that old Grammy was being like one of their millennial grandchildren, acting like a techie.
Grammy then proceeded to introduce the group to FREETOGO. To say that all of the ladies were extremely wowed would be an understatement. They watched quite a few of the videos and almost forgot to play Bunco.
Before leaving, everyone agreed to check out FREETOGO when they reached home and share it with as many people as possible.
Secondly, let's talk about a new site listed under the category, ‘Like You Are There,’ called “Window-Swap.” Part of the website’s description is, “A place on the Internet where all we travel-hungry fools share our 'window views' (from all around the world) to help each other feel a little bit better till we can (responsibly) explore our beautiful planet again.”
I highly recommend that you check this out. It offers you a significant step into the world of Virtual Travel.
Lastly, I have added a new ‘Travel Now’ category called ‘More UNESCO World Heritage Sites.’
From Wikipedia, “As of June 2020, a total of 1,121 World Heritage Sites (869 cultural, 213 natural, and 39 mixed properties) exist across 167 countries; the three countries with the most sites are China, Italy (both 55) and Spain (48).”
There are already numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites listed throughout the other ‘Travel Now’ categories. This new category explains the UNESCO World Heritage designation and highlights additional sites that don’t immediately come to mind when considering the other categories.
Once again, I invite you to check out the above videos and the many others curated for this website.
Also, be sure to see all of the many ways people are using FREETOGO at the bottom of the ‘Travel Now’ page.
Most importantly, help improve the quality of life of everyone. Please share this website far and wide, especially with anyone unable to travel freely. Sign up as a member, leave a testimonial, and visit the website regularly!
Get creative and have some fun traveling virtually. I look forward to the day when the term Virtual Travel will be as commonplace as the term travel.
Thank you.
