Welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.

Like always, I am happy to recommend three excellent videos this month.  Two can be found in the Locations section, and one in the Topics section on the Travel Now page.

1)      First, look at the Locations - Asia category. Enjoy all 23 videos in this category!

Start with the video, Cappadocia, Turkey.

(Did someone say turkey? Yes, I will take a serving. Thank you…oh, sorry…back to my blog post about Cappadocia.)

“Cappadocia, a semi-arid region in central Turkey, is known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” hot air ballooning, tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme, and elsewhere. Other notable sites include Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers) and later used as refuges by early Christians. The 100m-deep Ihlara Canyon houses numerous rock-face churches.

2)      Next, please look at the Locations - Worldwide category. You will find all 14 videos in this category interesting to watch.

Here is my pick for the month:

Top 10 OLDEST CITIES in the WORLD

“Cities with millennial history can offer you much more than beautiful architecture and unique artifacts. They bear the signs of previous epochs and civilizations and display both the positive and negative developments of mankind. These cities are full of amazing stories and legends and are the biggest lures for seasoned explorers. Let’s talk a little bit about the cities that are nearly as old as the hills on which they were built.”

3)      Last, take a look at the Topics – Cultures category. You will also find the other 14 videos in this category interesting.

The video to focus on first?

Since not all of us can travel the whole world, Fact Point has brought the entire world to you. In this very interesting video, we will tell you about different cultures from different societies, which you may find even shocking.”

Note: FREETOGO is entirely free. Also, there are no ads on the site to interrupt your visit. However, that is not true for many of the videos because YouTube hosts them. They are free to watch but have ads. Yet, if you wish, you can eliminate the ads by paying to become a premium member of YouTube.

You can access YouTube’s Premium Membership signup here:
