Welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.

Here is my list of this month's recommended videos. The three videos I have chosen for this month’s blog post can all be found in the LOCATIONS section of the TRAVEL NOW page.

1.    It has been so incredibly hot where I am, I thought going somewhere cold would be a good idea. Select the Antarctica category, found in the LOCATIONS section. Checkout the video:

2.    Next, also in the Antarctica Category, view the video:

“Following more than a decade of international and national planning and an intense week of on-ice weather delays, Priscu led the field team successfully drilled through the overlying ice sheet and sampled directly the waters and sediments of a lake hidden beneath the Antarctic ice sheet. The groundbreaking exploration of Antarctica's subglacial environment marks the beginning of a new era in polar science, opening the window for future interdisciplinary scientific investigations of one of Earth's last unexplored frontiers.”

3.    Lastly, go to the Worldwide category. Many viewrs have mentioned that they have found the following video to be very interesting:

After the global population hit eight billion, various predictions have been made about when the number of people on Earth will peak. Studies vary, with some suggesting that the world population will peak at 8.8 billion people by the middle of this century before it starts to decline. Other predictions, such as those made by the United Nations, estimate that the world's population could hit more than 10 billion by the 2080s.

In any case, the substantial increase in population has led to significant congestion in several of the world's largest cities, giving rise to considerable concerns regarding pollution and overcrowding. To put this list into perspective, the population of Greater London, UK, is a staggering 8.9 million, and New York, USA, is approximately 8.5 million.

In this video, you'll see the ten most populated cities on Earth and what it is like to live in them.”

They are free to watch but some have ads. Yet, you can skip them after a few seconds. Or, if you wish, you can eliminate the ads by paying to become a premium member of YouTube.
