Welcome to this month’s FREETOGO blog post.

As you will see when accessing FREETOGO, I have once again provided two Travel Now pages, one with less videos that have no ads and one with more videos that have some ads. I leave it up to each user to deal with YouTube’s ad efforts.

Let’s move on to this month's recommended videos.

1.     First, let’s look at the Locations-N. America category found on the

Travel Now – More videos, some ads webpage. The video I recommend is

“This is a South Dakota Road Trip Travel Guide / Itinerary that takes the traveler to visit Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the Black Hills’ Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Historic Deadwood, D.C. Booth National Fish Hatchery and Devils Tower National Monument in nearby Wyoming’s Black Hills. If you only want to hear about a specific area, the chapters with times are listed below. If you have some insight or tips on these destinations, please share them in the comments section for other travelers. Chapters: 3:12 - South Dakota Information & History 4:27 - Badlands National Park 6:10 - Mount Rushmore National Memorial / Black Hills Begin 9:10 - Custer State Park 12:27 - Wind Cave National Park 14:20 - Jewel Cave National Monument 15:44 - Crazy Horse Memorial 18:00 - Deadwood 22:12 - D.C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery 23:03 - Devils Tower National Monument

2.     Next, I once again have a treat for all nature lovers in the Topics – Natural Wonders category on the Travel Now – More videos, some ads webpage. The video I recommend is:

“The Great Lakes are an incredible natural resource. They store 1/5th of the world's drinking water and hold enough water to flood continental America 9 feet deep. How did such vast bodies form on Earth, and how are rising water levels affecting them?

3.     Lastly, look in the Topics-More UNESCO Sites category found on the Travel Now – More videos, some ads webpage. The video I recommend is:

“How did the ancient Greeks build the Acropolis, and what keeps it standing to this day? The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens. It contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical significance, the most famous being the Parthenon. The Acropolis is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is believed to be over 3300 years old.”

Note: FREETOGO is entirely free. Also, there are no ads on the site to interrupt your visit. However, that is not true for many videos because YouTube hosts them. They are free to watch but have ads. Yet, if you wish, you can eliminate the ads by paying to become a premium member of YouTube.

You can access YouTube’s Premium Membership signup here:

I invite you to check out the above videos and the many others curated for this website.

Also, see all the many ways people use FREETOGO at the bottom of the original Travel Now page.

Most importantly, please help improve everyone’s quality of life by sharing this website far and wide, especially with anyone unable to travel freely. Ask everyone to sign up as a member, leave a testimonial, and visit the website regularly!

Get creative and have some fun traveling virtually. I look forward to the day when the term Virtual Travel will be as commonplace as the term travel.

Thanks!
